John and Desiree Holley are originally from Detroit, Michigan. They moved to Athens in 2002. They have been married for 34 years and have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren who live throughout the mid west. Currently they are New Life’s prayer pastors and coordinator of the Seasoned in Life group which is for our aged 50+ adults. Before they moved to Athens, Desiree was involved in nursery and children’s ministry, youth group, and was a prayer ministry leader. John is currently taking classes at Global University and has taught the men’s Sunday school class and started the father’s day program. He also writes monthly messages that he sends to his neighbors and people in the community.
