Leaders: Bill & Donna Helton
In the service of the Lord, the Levites were given many responsibilities. Some of the Levite areas of responsibility were singing, playing instruments, and gatekeeping (greeters/ushers). First and foremost the greeter / usher is a servant. In this role the greeter / usher is reminded “but by love serve on another” - Gal 5:13. Our ministry duties include meeting, greeting and seating worshippers as they enter the sanctuary, providing them with church related materials, and attending to any needs of the church leadership, members and visitors. This “first touch” ministry is the initial impression to our visitors. Our vision is that it will set a tone for the entire church service – a tone of friendliness, helpfulness, and order. As 1 Corinthians 14:40 says: “Let all things be done decently and in order”
