He has served the body of Christ for twenty-seven years as a revivalist/evangelist and in pastoral ministry, and is currently lead pastor at New Life Assembly of God, Athens, AL. He serves on several boards and executive committees in the Assemblies of God and within the Athens-Limestone County (AL) faith community.
The Rachfords are transplants to the Tennessee Valley and have called Athens home for 8 years. They have four kids- Josh, Ryan, Melodie and Mackenzie. Adam and Kim have been in Children’s and Youth ministry for 14 years. They have a heart for kids and teens and a passion to see them develop a love and desire for God above all things.
Asa, Adela, and Ezra served as Missionary Associates in Ecuador, with Asa currently overseeing the missions efforts at New Life. In his role as chair of New Life's missions committee, Asa provides a unique perspective on both local and global outreach initiatives. Additionally, they lead our bilingual Sunday School class, which caters to both English and Spanish speakers. Adela also contributes to New Life as the office and social media manager.
Jocelyn serves as New Life's children's ministry director, and teaches in both the Sunday AM and Wednesday PM Spark Kidz Ministry.
